Error "Action GoTo has an unresolved destination"
October 6, 2022 12:00 AM
Hello all,
Was publishing a course I edited and I get two instances of "action goto has an unresolved location. (image attached)
When i click on the errors it goes to the test section. I double checked all the actions to make sure they have an actual page to navigate to. Am I missing something?
Thank you

It should go to a specific test page. Check every action on that page--you might find a "stray" action you forgot you created. Otherwise ... rebuild the entire page. It's easier to delete and remake a question than do detailed debugging, in my experience.
Hi @radillard. Whenever I encounter that error twice in a row I find the problem is usually in the Test Behavior settings. If you select the section that contains your test, then click on the Behavior tab at the top of Lectora, you will see that there are separate destinations for Completed/Passed and Canceled/Failed. If these have an invalid destination you will not be able to publish.
If the error leads to the section it might be something with inherited actions on section level. Mind that Go to actions that lost their targets might display "Next page". It should not be necessary to check all actions. The actions name should be "GoTo" .
Two errors usually means 1 for the Next button, 1 for the Back / Previous button
