Entry field issues in HTML publication

I have a computer simulator that I had built of our company's internal POS system software that allows Team Members to practice their data entry on customer transactions prior to actually doing it live on our POS system. It works fine when published as an EXE but we are currently trying to move everything to HTML versions. When I publish it as an HTML, data entry fields that worked in the EXE do not work in the HTML version. They are just plain old data entry fields that I set up to allow the users to enter fake customer information. Some fields work and some do not but they are all set up the exact same way on the pages; it is frustrating me because I cannot seem to figure out what the issue is with them. Any help that could be given would be greatly appreciated.
