Button Issue-white box appearing

I tried uninstalling and re-installing and it is still giving me the white boxes around the buttons. Guess I will have to give up and change them all to some other type of buttons; which is a bummer because I have used these in multiple programs and will now have to go back and re-do every program to get rid of them.I tried uninstalling and re-installing and it is still giving me the white boxes around the buttons.
