Custom Library Objects v 16 to 17

So, I install v.17 of Publisher and then uninstall v. 16. Once I get to work in v. 17 I realize that my custom library objects are gone. I go to Lectora Preferences and point to the v.16 Media Library. Still nothing.
I then move the v. 16 Media Library folder to another location (so I can access it) and point to it. Nothing.
So, now my question is...are v. 16 custom library objects incompatible with v. 17 or was there something I was supposed to do before uninstalling v. 16?

Update: I ended up manually moving my custom objects from the v. 16 MediaLib folder to the v.17 MediaLib folder. All is good.
