Audio Files Not Converting
January 13, 2011 12:00 AM
Hey Everyone,
When publishing to HTML, I'm compressing the audio (all in .wma format) so all of my files will be converted to .flv. This is necessary because I have an On: Done Playing action on each audio file that reveals the Next button.
The problem I'm running into is that some of the .wma audio files are not be converted to .flv, they are being converted to mp3 instead. I have a total of 55 audio files, and 24 of them are being converted to mp3 instead of .flv, one of which is the very first page, so the module won't even advance past the intro screen. I've compared the properties of the files that convert and the ones that don't (the original .wma files) and can't seem to find any consistencies. I don't think it's a size issue, because some files that won't convert are smaller than files that do convert.
Has anyone had this problem before? Any suggestions?
I'm using Lectora Professional Publishing Suite version x.4.
Thanks,
Jesse
