Before I go into a detailed explanation, are the MP3's loaded by the SWF's or completely separate? If not, it looks like you are doing it the correct way. If you were doing this in mass, (like 100 courses) there may be some ways to speed it up, but its generally the way you are doing it is the "quickest" way.
