Why working in one browser not another?

Hello All!
1. Why would a title work in IE7 (works almost perfectly here but see #3 below) and not Firefox (v3.0.8)?
2. What can be done so that it works in both? (Not working means when in FF, if I resize a window, the video that is playing shrinks down, can't see the video control bar, or other 'random' occurrences. Works almost fine - see #3 below - in IE))
3. When I publish to HTML, the video control bar allows me to move forward or back. However, when I publish to SCORM/Web-based, the control bar, although present, doesn't allow me to move down or back. When I grab the 'handle' and move it to the right (or left) it goes right back to the position in the video where it was playing.
