Oracle LMS erroneously records score =100 every time (AICC Lectora w/2 graded tests)

That's it, it's SOOO over - I'm breaking up with my LMS.
LMS: Oracle ELM
Lectora 11.2a (9020)
I've got a course with 2 graded tests. I'm averaging the total score by modifying the AICC_score variable with a 'change contents' action on the last page of the course, before setting AICC_Lesson_Status variable to "completed".
My LMS seems to want to record 100 for everyone, no matter what they get on the tests. In my test, I got 17 on the first test, 44 on the 2nd test, and the LMS still recorded 100. The LMS team is convinced the problem is in the source file (which I'm not opposed to being the case!!), but I've reached the limit of what I know to do to troubleshoot. In addition, why would the LMS record 100 with a 17 & a 44 - there's no math I know of that makes that work :/
Here's another twist... on the page where a learner can re-launch the course after completing it, the learner's score displays correctly. The erroneous 100 displays on the Activity Component Detail page, which we use for reports. (This is another reason I suspect the problem lies on the LMS side.)
So, anyone got ideas to help me?

What I know
AICC_score is correct as of the last page of the course (validated by running in preview mode.) - I'll be publishing to HTML, but I can't see why it would be a different value in preview/html.
This course is set up in the LMS identically to a previous course with a single scored test. (validated by our admin reviewing the course properties).
The .au file specifies that the min passing score is 0. This is consistent with other AICC courses I've published to the LMS that aren't demonstrating this tracking issue. We aren't requiring a passing score, but want to see what the scores are.
