Customize template for .au file?

Is it possible to customize the template for the .au file?
Right now, a portion of the .au file reads, ../a001index.html. Every time we publish a course AICC compliant to our LMS (PeopleSoft ELM), we have to edit the published .au file to delete the ../
It would be pretty spiffy if we could edit the template that creates the .au file (I did something similar with the template that generates the HTML for Captivate).
