Lectora 17.0.2 (Service Pack) now available

A maintenance update was applied to Lectora today to resolve a few issues. Please view the release notes for more details (http://trivantis.com/release-notes/lectora-desktop-17-0-2). To update Lectora navigate to the File menu then go to Lectora Preferences. From the Auto Updates tab and select the Check for Updates Now button.

I have Lectora 17.0 and it tells me that it's "up to date" :( Where do I download the patch to apply it manually?

If I pay yearly for the ability to upgrade to the latest versions of Lectora, do I need a new license key to go from v16 to v17?
Any issue with jumping from V12 to V17?
I submitted a request to upgrade to 16 but then 17 rolled out and I want to just bypass 16 (some issues with my LMS is the main reason but I also want Camtasia and SnagIt updates as well and they only come with 17...right?).
I am on a Department of Defense network so I can't just upgrade each time a new version comes out...I have to request it, then the security guys have to test it and then I can upgrade...that process can take 3 - 6 months!

Yes, you'll need a new license key. If you're already a Lectora customer and just need to upgrade your version you can use the following link http://trivantis.com/lectora/upgrade/
There were a couple things to look for when jumping from 12 to 17. The what's new page of the website usually highlights the major changes that were implemented in the product with the newest being at the top of the page and oldest being at the bottom. http://trivantis.com/inspire-e-learning-software/whats-new. Here are the few I can think of off the top of my head:

Media players went from Flash based to HTML5.
There's a known issue which affected some people with Camtasia and/or the Snagit installers in 17 and 17.0.1 so I would suggest going straight to 17.0.2 if you have Inspire.
Buttons and shapes now use SVG rendering. It should improve the way they look but worth a mention if you have scripting or something like that in place.
On done playing of media on mobile devices was amended.
Custom test results were improved and therefore may need to be reselected to get the full functionality out of the system.
Likert questions were changed and may need to be reconfigured.
Yes Jennifer, ran as Administrator, and got a message "Congratulations, update successful", and did a reboot, but my Lectora version is still showing v17.0.
I've tried this several times now, so I'll raise a ticket. Problem with this is the time difference, so I need to wait until tomorrow to get a response, which usually involves asking me a question, to which I respond, and then I wait another day for another response.
Will have to be patient....
I've now updated using the patch available on the Trivantis downloads page, and the version still indicates that I'm using v17.0. After running the patch .exe should my version number change?
I'm using Lectora Inspire v17.0. When I click Help | Check for updates, nothing happens. Should this do something?
Yes, it should. Did you run the patch as an admin? Maybe do a reboot?
