April 19, 2018 Google Chrome 66 Update Notification

With the update to Chrome 66.0.3359.117, Google has decided to not play auto started videos. This can affect customers who have developed Lectora courses that are running their course using seamless play publish with a video on the first page of the course. According to David Murphy at Lifehacker, "If you’re using the mobile version of Chrome, adding a website to your home screen will allow it to autoplay videos with sound. And if you’re browsing on the desktop, Google will also use a slightly more complicated algorithm to figure out if you’ve engaged with the site enough to trigger unmuted autoplay." Given this plus the other numerous existing issues with the seamless play feature in Lectora, will the feature as a whole be looked at in upcoming updates or releases?
