To bad lectora is still creating to much images. Is there coming a fix for this?

The development team is hard at work on a solution to the problem of Lectora creating a large amount of images. Since the problem involves changing some of the logic in the way Lectora interacts with images across multiple platforms they're investigating and working on a solution which makes sense and resolves any further issues.
