How to have learning checks generate a score?

I am building a course that has small "learning checks" throughout the course (some at the ends of chapters, some in the middle) and then there is a "final" exam at the end. I need the little learning checks to generate a score that won't affect the person's ability to progress in the course, it's just so they know how they're doing and what they need to review more before the "final." I am not sure if the best route to go with these would be to put forms/list boxes/radio buttons ON the actual slides, or to insert short "tests" all throughout the course... I mean these are literally 1-2 question learning checks. I am not sure if I go the route of doing the learning checks via forms/list boxes/radio buttons how to get them to submit somewhere that will generate a score... For that matter, I'm not sure how to generate questions and get them to submit somewhere and tally up a score in a "test..." Incase you haven't read my other posts, I am new to Lectora (this is my first job using it) and haven't had any formal training in it, just what I've played around with and been able to figure out on my own. So if you give me instructions, please be thorough and don't skip "common sense" steps!! I appreciate any advice anyone can give me!!!!! Thanks!!
