External Html: How to remove anchor tags

I have a flash file that loads using an External HTML script. From what I understand the way to add it is to use the "Other" type from the properties window. However, when I do this it encloses my script in
and tags. The anchor tag is causing problems with IE7.Is there a workaround without manually editing the html file after publishing(Lectora 2007).Why does it insert the anchor tags. It seems kind of useless with the div tag there for positioning?
