Course hangs after feedback problem

We have only started to experience that issue since roughly May 2006. We have courses built in Lectora 2005 and Lectora 2006 running Windows XP SP1 clients with Sun Java 1.5.0_06 on a windows 2003 server active directory domain. The thing that bugs me is that so far we cannot replicate the symptom on demand, but rather have students get the problem, only to rarely be able to replicate it again (or at least not while we are watching). Our only option has been to use task manager and kill explorer, all results are lost. If the student then immediately re-attempts the course PRIOR to a computer restart, the symptom does not re-occur. We also have some WinNT4 systems still active that run Sun Java 1.4.2_08 but are on an NT4 Server Domain and this issue has NEVER surfaced on NT4 clients. So, our focus had been on a few things: 1. Sun Java 1.5.0_06, 2. Active Directory Group Policy Changes, 3. MS hotfixes (primarily Q883939). We use Pinnacle Learning Manager (soon to be replaced) as our LMS.Sandeep and Clay (and anyone else who has the symptoms) can you please post what version of Sun Java, what environment, what LMS etc.Cheers, Cam
