Course hangs after feedback problem

I ran into an problem with courses published from Lectora 2005 to coursemill 3.5 that contain multiple quizzes and a final exam. The quizzes are included in the final grade and feedback is to be shown when a quiz is completed. Now, everything works fine in Firefox and simliar browers. However, when running in IE 6 the course runs the quiz, runs the feedback after hitting the "Done" button, but it hangs after you click the "ok" button on the feedback window. it does not move the course forward and the window is shows "not responding" state. I thought it may be a Java issue so I tested it on a JRE 1.3.1, 1.4.2, and the latest 1.5.6 and it still did not fix the problem. Does anyone have any suggestions ideas?
