Audio and Pictures Transitions problem

I'm using Lectora Pro v2006 SP5 with Windows XP and IE 6. I'll do my best to explain the situation. I've built a slide show on a page using an mp3 file for audio and transitions to show/hide images at the right times. I've got 10 images, with a white rectangle in front of each image to hide each image. Here's the setup: Rectangle 1 has no transitions; Image 1 transitions in at 0.0 seconds and transitions out at 8.0 seconds; Rectangle 2 transitions in at 8.0 seconds and out at 11.0 seconds; Image 2 comes in at 8.0 seconds and out at 11.0 seconds. This continues until the last image transitions in at 49.0 seconds and doesn't transition out.The problem I'm having is that when I play this page, either in Preview Mode or Published to HTML, the page essentially freezes up. When I click Next to move to the next page nothing happens but then all buttons freeze up - mousing over the next/back/chapter buttons does not show their mouse over state and I cannot click Exit to close. This happens whether I wait for the audio to finish or I click Next before the audio finishes. I have audio on a previous page but no transitions and that page works fine. Any ideas what might be going on? Am I pushing Lectora too hard or is my simplistic method of transitions not built for this? Should I use show/hide actions instead? Thanks,RussEdited By: rhall01 on 2007-2-15 10:9:14
