How to hide a visible text box

I apologize for asking this question as I'm certain it's been asked before, but after much searching I cannot locate the answer in this forum.I have an image of a personal check and I want users to click on the certain parts of the image that indicate something is wrong with the check. I am using transparent buttons as hotspots over 7 different areas of the image. When they click a hotspot they will see 1 of 3 different feedbacks, which I have created as hidden text boxes. I can show the feedbacks just fine, but I am having a hard time hiding the text box after is made visible.What I want to happen is:1) Hot spot is clicked, text box shows2) Text box disappears after a certain amount of time OR when another hot spot is clickedHere's what I've tried: - 1) On Click; Show; textbox; 2) On Show; Hide; Text Box; after 3 seconds- 1) On click; Show; textbox; 2) On mouse exit; hide; text box; after 3 seconds- transition the text out after 3 secondsNone of these actions have consistently done a good job of getting rid of the text box.
