Only Prev Page/Next Page actions valid within a test in random mode.

I am getting this error when publishing my course: "Only Prev Page/Next Page actions are valid within a test/test section in random mode." Strangely the errors link to text boxes having OnMouseClick actions. Has anyone seen this before, and if so, what is causing the error? I have tried removing these text boxes and that fixes the problem. But, I need these links and whenever I put them back in the publish fails.
