What do the OnMouse links do?

My client want me create a test that has 300 randomized questions. and whenever students wants to quit the test they can click to "home" button and go back to main menu. They dont have to finish 300 questions. also that test is for educational purposes. not grading purposes.
So i can not do it. i can not add home or any other button. if i do i have to create an action only prev/next page. i can not do "go to ....... page" etc..
Help please.
sounds like "Trivantis technical support" has really "high IQ" employee. They never solve my any problem so far. way to go Trivantis..
Just make the home button a Submit/Process Test action. Then on the test properties, set the On Passed and the On Failed tabs to go to the home page.

Benpitman; thanks for the advises
I already set test properties "On Passed and the On Failed tabs to go to the home page".
but I tried "make the home button a Submit/Process Test action" unfortunately I still get errors "A submit test action is not valid within a test/test section in random mode". I inserted screen shot so you can see..
thanks

I did it!
Instead of "home button a Submit/Process Test action" ; I gave the "cancel test/survey" action to the home button. and this time I could publish without error. also It went to main menu yay!
but this time when I go back to test again I see my previous answers selected. I guess I have to reset the test somewhere. maybe multi actions etc..

You could try this. Add a test section and move all your questions into that. Turn off the randomisation on the Test object and turn it on for the Test Subsection. You should be able to then add the "Home" button to the Test level (not within the test section) and set it to Cancel assessment.
The issue is putting that navigation inside a randomised element where (due to randomisation) it may never be shown (I am guessing).
Now about this. I know it is a while ago but I have similar issues. Although as I extensively use inheritance its harder.
I don't really want to add duplicates of all the buttons to each test section.
Also during the course I want learners to be able click on button to open reference material in new window.
Maybe there is another way to randomise a set of questions without using the build in Lectora Online feature.
