How to hide a visible text box

Sorry for not being clear before - I was rushing out the door to coach a 2nd grade soccer practice. Fun :-). By the way, I'm using Lectora 2006.Ben, you were right about my having a Show/Hide action on the button. Oops - the hide needed to be on the text box. Thanks for the great suggestions. I took Kevin's suggestion and things are working great. On my 3 text boxes I have a Hide action: On Show; Hide; (self); after 3 seconds. Each hot spot has 1 show action and 2 hide actions to either show one of the text boxes or hide the other 2. Now when I click a hotspot it shows a text box which either disappears after 3 seconds or disappears when I click on a different text box.As Kevin said, it's an awkward and clumsy solution, but it works. If anyone has a suggestion for a simpler solution that would be cool, but for now it's working great. Thanks again.-Russ
