Flash 9 GetURL not working

I have read earlier threads regarding the "GetURL" action in Flash, and a bug in the Flash 9 player. The other users who have written about their problems, have had the action applied to a Flash button. Our flash files have the action applied to the final frame of a flash animation time line. And the action is not applied or part of any other object or frame in the animation. So "instance" naming of buttons is not an option. At any rate, on the current course we are developing and several which had been functioning correctly for over a year, now do not work. The Flash animation runs and then just hangs. It does not proceed to the next page. Uninstalling Flash Player 9 is not an option in our corporate environment. What are my options.
