Flash 8 Preloader not working in IE 7

It sounds like you have different versions of the flash player running in firefox and IE7. Since you get the same results from doing a simulate download - it is probably not an IE7 issue, but rather some outdated code that runs fine in an older version of the flash player (which I'm guessing is installed in firefox) but doesn't run as well in the new version.
