Audio Events in non IE
May 1, 2017 12:00 AM
I'm using Lectora 17.0.3 (11018) and I've added an MP3 audio file to my title. Within Lectora I opened the audio and added two events. When I published the title I was given the warning that "Video and Audio events only with with Internet Explorer".
"That's odd" I thought "it must be some legacy warning left over from earlier versions of Lectora" as audio events have been working fine in Chrome, Firefox, Safari since at least Lectora 16.
When I tested the published title in Chrome, Edge, and Firefox (as per the warning) none of the events would trigger.
Has 17.0.3 broken audio events?

I found what was causing the event not to trigger. The audio file is 8.94 seconds in length and the event was at 8.2. The controller bar displayed the length as 8 seconds.
When I added a second of silence to the end, the controller bar displayed the length as 9 seconds and the event triggered.
