Accessing Video
April 18, 2013 12:00 AM
Hello everyone, I'm having an issue attempting to access a video from a secure (https) website. I have a video object configured with the following settings: Name: Video, Video: Flash Stream Video, URL: https://blahblah. When executed I get the message: Task Queue failed at step 5: Playlist could not be loaded: Error #1085.
The URL is the correct path to the embedded video on that website. The client does not want the video available in the Lectora code as a resource to access, only to access it from the URL.
Can someone shed some light on how do I correct this problem? Thanks in advance.

We are attempting to use the vimeo hosting service to speed up our videos and help make them readable on all platforms
We are also getting the same error, any time we try to link a video. We get this error: Task Queue failed at step 5: Playlist could not be loaded: Error #1085

Were you able to find some solution to access the video. I am facing similar problem so need some guidance. Please help:confused::confused:
One of our folks was just looking at this today and showed this to me. Playing around, they found something that seems to work (haven't really tested it) and I can't say that I understand it yet. It involves an .mp4 and HTML5.
Just using the URL Vimeo gives you (when you click the share icon) didn't work for us. If I go to the Vimeo site and try to download the video using the Chrome browser, it allows me to do just that.
However, when attempting to download the video using Firefox (i.e., I click the blue " DOWNLOAD" button), when I click on the specific file (e.g., "SD .MP4 file (638x360/22MB"), instead of popping up the Save As window as it did in the Chrome browser, it just started playing the video in the current page. The URL for this page is different from what you get from the Share button or if you search for the video and then play it. Our new URL looked something like this: http://av.vimeo.com/12345/666/123456789.mp4?token=1234567890_123.... (those digits aren't the real values because it's a client's video).
When we used this new URL for the streaming video in our Lectora title, it seems to work.
