Updates to SCORM published courses/NETg

I'm a developer just getting started with publishing Lectora courses (NETg LMS). My LMS administrator prefers that I publish to AICC because: "Each time a change is made to a course in SCORM it creates a new GUID (unique identifier) for the course. This then requires the new GUID to be published up to the LMS as a new course."Her concern is that this will result in the need to unenroll and reenroll users in the LMS each time an update is made to a course published in SCORM. Can anyone verify that the quoted statements are accurate? My concern is that elsewhere in this forum, others have indicated they have only been successful publishing to NETg in SCORM format.
