Translation Tool - import not working?

Hi, I'm using Lectora Professional Publishing Suite vX.6 for the first time. I had an earlier version before from which I exported and extract file using the translation tool. The export worked fine and I made all my changes in it and am now ready to import back my new version but the translation tool will not import it. Everything seems to be working fine: I get the window to specify file name, type of import and wher to find the rtf file, then I click ok and I get the small graduated window showing import progress. That window stays on for no more than 2 seconds and closes but when I look into my title there is nothing there except the new title name and the page 1 icon.
Can someone help me please? Thank you!
