Group not listed

Hi everybody,
I created a group in a page in my title and I now want to create an action targetting this group but when I look at the drop down target list the group is not there and I just can't figure out what's wrong. Both the group and the action are at the same hierarchy level. What am I doing or not doing that should be corrected. I have to say I do have another grou/action situation in the same page and it works perfectly.
Thanks for your help, I've been racking my newby brains over this.
