Tables insanity

Has anyone had success using tables in Lectora? It's driving me out of my mind. In addition to other weirdness, I tried a simple copy paste from one cell to another. Instead it copied a miniature version of the entire table into that cell. Control-Z didn't work until I pressed it about 5 times, which also undid some of my other work. So I got back to where I was and made sure I pressed control-C firmly with the selection I wanted. I saved my work first just to be safe. Ctrl-V and it pasted the mini-table in the cell again. I closed the program without saving and re-opened it to find it was in the unsaved state. What in the world is going on?!?!?!
