SCORM: exit title in AU
July 30, 2009 12:00 AM
When a course exits, it does some commands before the window closes. It saves all the data, it saves the time (the LMS then calculates time spent) is save the status, and any other data.
You want an exit button because there are time delays in passing all this information in the exit code. Sometime if you just hit the window close button it won't pass all the information or you may get a timeout. One company we worked with thier LMS had this problem a lot. The user had to click the exit button in the course so that all the data could save properly through their many firewalls.
Its the same action, in all cases, popup or main course, because there is code in there to detect whether or not its a popup and connected directly to the LMS API.
