n/a no longer available for 5-choice Likert scales?

This worked in Lectora X, but the n/a option sometimes comes up grayed out in Lectora 11 when using 5 choice scales. Sometimes it is an option. If there's only one statement, it works fine. If I try to add an additional statement, I get the following error with an OK button: "Encountered an improper argument." After this, I can't finish creating the question. At one point Lectora just shut down when I finally got the question created.
