More Customizable Table of Contents

Here's is a list of suggestions for Table of Contents objects to make them more customizable...
Edit: I just noticed some of the bugs I mention only happen when "transparent frame" is enabled
Word Wrap:
Currently chapter, section, and page names that run past the width of the TOC box are hidden in preview mode and overflow when published. An option to wrap the text to the next line would be nice.
Custom Icons:
It would help to have the option to change icons to fit a design. More icon options would be better, the ability to add my own would be best.
Highlight active page:
The page the student is currently on should stand out in some way such as be highlighted or have a different or additional icon. Currently I've only seen this happen in preview mode, and by some quirk it works when published if you use a tree view but only after a chapter has been expanded/collapsed (using FF3 and IE7).
Option to style chapter texts differently from sections/pages:
For example chapters in a blue size 14 Arial Bold, and Pages in a light blue size 12 Arial regular. If this were an option, it would allow for a different TOC design that wouldn't require indenting to denote hierarchy.
