managing audio while in groups

I don't know if I changed something, or it I tested poorly ealier, but now any actions placed on my audio are ignored when I view in any browser.I found a work around by using flash commands with flash audio, but I'd still like to hear any thoughts or suggestions for audio formats.Also, What's a good audio to flash conversion tool to use?
