Jaws and tables

I have a table in Lectora and I marked the top row as the header row. When Jaws reads the table in says table has 10 rows and 2 columns (one of those rows being the heading row). But isn't Jaws also supposed to announce the heading row as a heading. It reads the text in the heading row but doesn't acutally announce it as a header.I have a table in Lectora and I marked the top row as the header row.
