Buttons with an attitude

Actually this is correct and as it should be. If you want a button that says something different, you need to create a separate button. When you create a text button in the first place, Lectora is actually being helpful and creating the required graphics (with the different states, etc.) for you. That button is saved as an image file, so, naturally, if you edit that image file, you're changing the button wherever it appears. It would be the same as if you copied any graphic to a bunch of pages and then edited the graphic by accessing the edit function from the Properties dialog box for that graphic on a given page. The graphic will change on all pages. This is because Lectora just points to that image file on each page, rather than creating a separate instance of that graphic every time you copy it. This saves a lot of file space!
