Buttons with an attitude

Here’s an example:Make a 2-page document. Go to the first page, make a button with the text “Cancel This” and link it OnClick to Google.com Copy the button Go to the second page Paste the button Right click the button and choose Edit, change the text to “Go Here” Open the Button Properties and change the name to “Go Here”. Change the Link to Yahoo.com [1] Save the file Go to the first page. The button named "Cancel This" is now named “Go Here”, but the link is still pointing to Google.com. Any changes made to the button text of ANY COPY of the button will also change the button text TO THE ORIGINAL BUTTON. Not very helpful.Note at the [1] above that there is a clue to why this may be. In the Button Properties the window marked “Normal-State Image” holds the name for the original image.Just tested something else, and have a correction: Changing the button text on any copy of the button will change ALL copies of the button text, including the original. Other changes that affect ALL copies of the button including the original include Color and Size, so I’m guessing that means changing anything in the Edit capabilities will follow the pattern.Other functions such as transitions, OnClick actions, and attached Actions are not affected.
