Audio actions not executing properly

Scenario:
Single Screen. User is presented with a screenshot. There is also an audio clip (with player) to accompany the content. The user is instructed to click on a radio button on the screenshot (a hot spot) that will then show a new sceenshot and accompanying text.
In addition to the screenshot and text that appear when the user clicks on the hot spot, there is also audio that is supposed to activate/appear. A new audio player is supposed to appear over the previous audio player as shown on the screen shot. If I attach an action to the hot spot that audio 1 stops and is hidden, and audio 2 appears on top, then the audio player should appear in the same location that the audio 1 player was located. The problem is that, in the published file, the audio 1 player disappears, as it should, but the audio 2 player does not appear as it should. It doesn't matter if the audio is by itself or part of a group that appears.
This works as it should in the both the preview, run mode, and published executable, but it does not work in the SCORM-published file. Why would this be?
