Variables lose returns

Well, let's talk this thru a bit. First, the list box does work. I have it in several courses. I would have to muck around a bit to figure out where to put the action and whether or not to put it on the box or the variable. Regardless, not a solution you want to implement in 60 courses. JavaScript is the way to go. What you would do if possible is to create a JavaScript function that cleaned up the variable contents. Create an action calls the function and put it in just before updating the box. One function, lots of actions. Once you have the action, very easy to change the variable being used. Main question is whether or not you can build the JavaScript code. Be glad to help on a contract basis. Pay only if I can do it. Likely $90.
