Variable Changed in 2007

We ran into a problem when we installed the 2007 version over the existing 2006. All of the variables in the title changed,which in turn affected all conditions associated with those variables. VERY IRRITATING! ...especially on a title 98% complete!Is there a fix expected for this? I certainly do not want this to happen to every title we have created. Perhaps - although I'm not sure what - we could have done something different to prevent this?Any help is greatly appreciated!
