Transparent Button/Captivate Javascript/Computer setting problem
July 6, 2010 12:00 AM
Here's my little problem:
I have a swf file created in Captivate. The last slide has an On slide exit: Execute Javascript action, where the javascript is set to display a transparent button in Lectora.
Back in Lectora, I've pulled in the .cp file and have the transparent button placed on top of the swf file. On click of the button, it should hide the swf file.
My problem is this: when I test this (published to html), the button does not appear as it should. It does not seem to be a Captivate or Lectora problem because when two of my colleagues open the file on their computers, it runs as designed. Unfortunately our standard browser is IE 6. One colleague is running IE 6 (with what seem to be the same settings as me) and one is running IE 8. I would love to upgrade to IE 8, but since the standard for our organization is IE 6, I need to be able to test in that environment. So...any suggestions or ideas as to what should be changed in my settings? I've googled this and can't find anything helpful.
Thanks so much!
