Control Captivate Audio in Lectora?
March 8, 2011 12:00 AM
I have a page built in Lectora on which there are three swf files. The swfs are not initially visible and are launched on click of hyperlinks on the page. The problem I am having is this: When a swf is playing and another hyperlink is clicked, it's easy enough to hide the first swf and show/play the second. But despite the fact that the first swf is hidden, the audio continues to play. I have a workaround whereby the page reloads and the correct swf plays, however, there's that small flicker when the page reloads and I'd like it to look more seamless. Any thoughts on how to get the audio to stop playing when the swf's been hidden/stopped? I've tried using flash commands (e.g., rdcmndPause or rdcmndStop) but they don't seem to work.
Thanks,
Erin
