Tracking for executable file

I have bookmarking when published as HTML but now I am trying to determine if Lectora can be used to develop a Tutorial that would be published as a executable.I need bookmarking. Can someone push me in the right direction or maybe even provide a very general example.I am not sure what the Lectora executable file needs so that it can recognize what page to return to if we allow thw student to 'resume' where they left off in a previous session.I will be using the 'maintain variable from one session to the next' option.Ultimately I will be doing the same thing for tracking completion of lessons, saving and retrieving user data (such as; ID, password, and name).Any ideas or thoughts will help.Thanks
