Skip audio second time around?

I have a page with audio. Towards the end of the audio, two buttons come up offering additional information IF the user wants to see it.
If they don't, they just click Next to skip it and go to the next page.
If they do click on one of the buttons, another page opens. When the audio is done, they click on a button to return to the previous page they were viewing. However, I don't want the audio to replay when they go back to the page.
Is this possible? If so, how.
