Lectora Audio as compared to Captivate Audio

Hi, Lectora has its limitations. What I know is you can insert audio and position the audio button or controller on the page but you can't tell the audio when to start and stop on the page as there is no timeline in Lectora. Also there is a problem on using a different skin for the audio controller, it's not working after you publish it.

In Captivate, I could assign audio to a particular page and I would be able to see that audio on a timeline. I could then position when page objects (such as arrows or text or graphics) appeared/disappeared directly on the timeline. I could edit the audio directly in Captivate, modifying the volume, changing a few words, removing my breathy sounds, etc.) How are the things I am describing accomplished in Lectora? Thanks in advance for your help!
