Scoring Essay Questions

It sounds as if your modify variable actions are not setup correctly. You need to make sure you are selecting the question variable for the T/F question and not the essay question. Also, make sure if you placed this on the next button that the modify variable action is before the go to next page action or else those actions will never get initiated. If you want, you can move that modify variable action to the next page and make it on show rather than on mouse click as long as this is not the last question in the test as the action needs to occur before the test submission.
