Resetting some (not all) variables

I agree with the above. I do exactly what you describe but for one or two very simple screens here and there. At your level, Captivate might be a wise choice. Web site http://www.adobe.com/products/captivate/?sdid=HCQWsays it costs $600. If your rate internally is $50/hr, then you make your money back in 12 hours!Now, if you insist, then try this. I have not but it might work. If you are not using an LMS to keep scores, put the pages you want to reset the variables on in a separate title. Then link to that from your main title. Maybe in a new window, depends on how you are using. There is a chance that Reset all variables may only apply to that title. The Generate Short ASCII HTML page names on the publish page has an effect on this. My experience has been that if it is checked, the titles can share the same variables. So if you check it, the Reset may affect the launching title. If you UNcheck it, it may not.
