Removing items not needed

Dear all.I've been developing for some months now, and still updating all the courses that have been developed. The problem is, usually pages get added, and ocassionaly some get deleted. Deleted with them are some images and usually some MP3-files with voices as well. And last but not least, some movies and animations are added and removed with every update.Total score for 1 example course:- 1339 Images- 332 MP3-files- 10 (or so)movies and animationsRoughly 1100 of these images are actually used in the course, because the others have been deleted before. Same goes for the animations and MP3-files. Somehow, the guy who formerly build these courses and did most of the updates actually never deleted the source-files for each item, just its reference in the course. I now want to clean the entire course-folder, to get rid of all unused items. I just don't know how to do this. I know when the pre-publish check is done, the program asks you to remove the unused content, and I'm also aware of the fact that you can check the option to remove them from the disk as well, but I do not know how to invoke this on a voluntary base. What I would like the program (or any other program for that matter) to scan the folders for all items NOT used in the course, and kindly remove them. Does anyone have a solution for this?
