Progress Page - Need to save visited pages/chapters per user

We have a situation where some of our remote workers are going through our online course and the progress page will clear the chapters/pages they have already visited. We are thinking this might be due to a hiccup in their wireless home connection. Is there a way on each page to set some code to individually remember what they have completed? This would even be helpful if they exited and came back to the course.
FYI, we have the Peoplesoft LMS and the bookmarking is working great and takes them to where they left off in the course, it is the progress page we created in Lectora that is clearing out and not allowing them to complete when it shows incomplete chapters.
