Branching tests & completion sent to LMS

I've read that several of you have been fighting the good fight to win with ELM and Lectora and I would greatly appreciate your insight.
We have been told that it would require major customization to change the ELM API. The one line that appears to drive the launch is the following:
"SCOClientWindow", "menubar=yes,scrollbars=yes,status=yes,location=yes,toolbar=yes,width=800,height=600"
As you can see, the courses we design to launch in full screen will default to 800 x 600 and everything is turned on that would distract the learner. How can we get around this to be able to launch a variety of courses developed in Lectora, UPK (requires frames), and others. ELM was supposed to be our inhouse solution to launch both homegrown and vendor courses.
Has anyone developed an in-between course in Lectora that can launch other courses that have different settings and the SCORM data is still passed? Scores and completions?
I'm really stuck and hope someone can help me.
