Preview vs HTML - working differently
May 12, 2016 12:00 AM
Our course functions a little different when viewing in Preview mode versus HTML. Has anybody experienced this issue.
We have the next button hidden until the learner completes 4 actions. When ran in preview mode it works great, but run it in HTML and the next button appears after only 2 actions completed. The actions appear to be setup properly and we are stuck.
Your help is greatly appreciated.

Allthough i am not sure if this is the case in your specific issue... still good to know and check though.
When viewing in Preview Mode, Lectora uses ( if i remember properly ) your default browser to check/test/show the course. If you publish its offcourse up to you which browser you use... so doublecheck whether those are the same... if not... it might be a browser issue...
Is there a possibility that the browser isn't holding the variable data?
Thank you all for responding so quickly. How would I check to determine if it's a browser issue when cache has been cleared?
Usually I have these issues (if I understand correctly), because the browser stores too much data. So I'd agree that clearing browser cache may be useful. What you can do to check whether it's caused by the browser this way you can add an action to the page:
On: Show
Action: Modify variable
Target: your_variable
Type: Set as empty
With this action, anytime you open or reload the page you should start at the beginning, i.e. all 4 actions should be required to show the Next button.

Also, if you post a sample of a page that this happens on we can check it on our computers/devices.
